I've purchased MOP buttons from ButtonKingdom88 on ebay. Prob costs about $10 including shipping for 72 MOP cat's eye buttons 5/8".

edit: the ones in the link on prior post are really nice!

Looks OK for Gap. I'd have to see it in real life.

has anyone tried on the salt soaked selvedge levis? or should i just buy the equivalent from the levi store and forget about the difference a "salt soak" makes.

Magnificent Bastard recommends it. Something about it being "only $150." When you look at it that way... .

The fabric on that red chambray looks odd in the pictures. Ive got the sun faded Gap chambray

Not a soft as the J. Crew versions (and the buttons are even worse, but I replaced them) but I paid less than $40 with a coupon so for the money I think it's great. I checked out the RRL chambray the other day and I can't get it out of my mind. I have a funny feeling that I'll give in and go pick one up in the very near future.

As much as i normally hate the fit of J. Crew shirts, I stopped by a store today and tried on the Vintage Oxfords and was pleasantly surprised that the arms seemed quite a bit slimmer than the other shirts they had. Plus the fact they were $30 made it that much better.

Can anyone provide me with some reviews/opinions on J. Crew bootcut jeans. Do they fit true to size? Are they slim in the thigh? I just wanted to get some thoughts before i place an order online. Thanks in advance for the help.

I haven't tried the bootcut jeans, but every pair of vintage slim and straight I have bought has been vanity sized - go down 1 or 2 from tagged size. I'd imagine bootcut would be similar.
