Seems silly. I will not be blowing thousands of dollars on a huge shiny ring, much less 3 months pay (which is tens of thousands, since I am at SF average of 250K/year, of course).

no 250 is the back up job that you really do not want. the standard sf job round u to around 600k annual and only require 20 hours a week, givign tiem to shop and party.

Nope, I'm not particularly good-looking at all. I have a great education. But I am not rich by any stretch, especially for NYC where a girl can find a guy making $500K+ to take her out on a date in about four to five minutes. And I do not sleep with that many girls...maybe 5 "new ones" in Manhattan a year give or take for the last 2-3 years/
