I bought and returned this shoe. I believe it was C&J and runs a wee bit larger than stated size.

I bought that one on massive discount a while back---haven't worn it yet, but it's a gorgeous shoe.

It wasn't a 240. Some other outdated last like 317, 310 or something like that. IMHO it looks better than the 240, but it is shorter.

I recall seeing a single row of nails in the heel and concluded it was C&J.

I have the tan wholecut on the 240 last and they fit me better than any other shoe I own.

I made a mistake up top. The 240 fits me well but my actual favorite fit is the 318 (tan wholecuts).

I have these shoes. I purchased for $158 exclusive of tax. Last is 318. Fits very true to size. Perfect shoes. Better than the photos. Highly recommended. Check this out: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...=84373&page=13 I think it those wholecuts you mentioned have the very same color and shade.
