The Tokito Sports Jacket (and I assume its subsequent iterations) is infamous for the sweating people do when wearing it. It's caused by an intraliner, made of some kind of poly material, between the outer waxed cotton and the interior lining. It's incredibly waterproof, but it also doesn't breathe well.
I read about this and discovered it myself after putting a hole in my lining accidentally.
I'm thinking of having my tailor remove it. I've been cautioned against it because wax might seep through, but I've got another Barbour that isn't even lined in some places, so I'm not too worried.
I'm wondering though if anyone knows when Barbour started doing this, and if we have a list of which jackets have them.
