Is it worth repairing?

So I love these shoes. I wear them all the time so I had my cobbler look at them and he laughed and said that I am better than this.

The thing is I really love these shoes except when it rains or if I am going to be doing a lot of walking or standing.

So should I bother getting them repaired?

Not at all worth repairing. It's time for a new pair. Not sure what other advice can be reasonably given in this case. Sorry.

It was a gift from a past girlfriend that's why it's hard to let go. It holds sentimental value.

Then you've answered your own question about whether the shoes are 'worth' repairing. Objectively, no. But clearly you are sentimentally very attached to them, so whether this is enough to justify resoling them is entirely up to you. Not sure how we can help you here.
