I have been asked to inquire if anyone knows of a woman's forum similar to this one. She sits many evenings looking over my shoulder,ok looking from my right, while I browse through the forum. She has been very supportive of all of my purchases both from here and retail stores as well.

She would like the opportunity to browse and become familiar with fashion as well.

Thanks for your assistance.

AskAndy has a women's forum. Not sure if it goes into the detail of this one though.

Not really. Nothing so canonical and predictable from year to year.

To answer Willsw: the Chanel suit, would come closest. Not what's being done today, however. The original suit by Chanel, came closest to a classical 'uniform' for women.

If she's keen on purses (silly question, I know) there's this forum. (Caveat: You may not wish to refer her to this site because if you think that men's shoes can get pricey, you have no idea).

Nothing like these fora for women. They're not as picky and as style conscious as men!

the only fashion forum I've come across where women are very active is Honest Forum. 99% crappy denim though.

John Molloy's Women's Dress for Success was published in 1976 and advocated the skirt suit as a business uniform for women. Naomi Wolf claims the fashion industry worked to destroy that idea. So I guess that's why women can't have forums.
