Today I took advantage of BB's 25% off event sale and purchased 2 suits from the 1818 collection. I'm seeking ideas to make the outfit look more formal for my wedding.

It was my fiancee's idea to buy a nice wedding suit, we're pretty casual and practical people. I think it's a great idea however I can't remember attending a wedding where the groom didn't wear a tux so this feels like uncharted territory to me. I'm used to weddings where the groom wears a traditional tux and bow tie.

I'm planning on wearing a solid white shirt but would like advice on the rest: Tie/bow tie, pocket square, belt color/type, shoes, etc...

Here's the wedding suit:

Thanks in advance!

Tux’s are evening wear and really shouldn’t be worn to a daytime wedding so yes most people do it and most get it wrong.

Personally I think that suit is perfect I would match it with black belt and black oxfords as a more formal option. Pocket square? I usually only wear white ones. Are you going with French cuffs? Some discrete pearl cufflinks might add a touch of wedding celebration mood to the look

I'm planning on French cuffs and was leaning towards a white pocket square.
