I run a very high end lounge with a lot of out of town high end business guys. I am trying to really up my game with regards to my footwear and I am making a trip to NYC to get some bespoke shirts (probably at T&A) and for shoes I am looking for advise. I think Bontoni and Berluti make very beautiful shoes, I think Lobb while obviously well constructed, they just don't have the wow factor for me. I am 32 and so I can still pull off a bit of wildness. Thanks for your advise gents.

Berluti
Corthay
Gaziano & Girling
All perfect for your needs. Good luck!

If you don't mind a little worse construction wise but more wow, then add Tom Ford to that list. But I'm thinking berluti and corthay is what your looking for.

Hang on a min, i just realized you said lounge. So I'm thinking when you say "wow factor" its more towards the shape of the shoe rather than the color? As won't most of your time be spent in the dark or dim lighting?

There isn't a lot of love on here for Bontoni, are they also not really well built shoes? Or are they just difficult to find?

Nothing against them, I've seen them at Bergdorfs here in nyc but they aren't my cup of tea. Oh and if you are looking at corthay and berluti, i would add Kiton as well

Any time of year that I could get lucky and maybe find some of these things on sales, I doubt I will get any sales on bespoke shirts, but maybe on shoes.... ????

Kiton and Corthay you can find on sale at Saks some of the time. I think they are having a sale right now, Bontoni and Tom ford can be found at bergdorfs which is also on sale right now but i didn't see any Tom ford this time around, but did manage to pick up 2 pairs last december so they do go on sale. Berluti i don't think go on sale.

Trying to save money? Google/search for Sutor Mantellassi on sale. Many of the styles (w/wow factor) that retail over $1K can be had for $400-$600

You can checkout these sites
