I picked weekly but probably closer to twice a month. They're usually inexpensive things like a shirt, pair of shorts, pair of pants, a hat, etc. I'm on eBay everyday. It's rare that I don't find something cool for a great price in a given week. This week, I found a tuxedo shirt identical to the one I ruined in the wash. I've been looking for a new one since January. I probably won't wear it until November or December, but It's hard to pass up on such deals.

Good deals are the bane of my bank account!

As I take forever to wear anything out, excepting socks and underwear, and buy most of my clothes thrifted, I buy new typically never anymore for the most part. Did buy a new pair of shorts this year, though.

Right now I'm buying a lot of clothes, but that's because I lost 60 pounds and have to replace my whole wardrobe. My goal is to buy quality and not have to constantly replace things! :)
Both of us are in the same phase. I lost about 40-50 lbs, and I've been replacing my entire wardrobe. Congratulations on the weight loss!

Thank you, and to you! Are you taking advantage of the opportunity to upgrade as well as replace? I'm trying to buy fewer, better quality pieces compared to what I had before I started losing weight...

Oh-definitely. I'm more focused on the cut, material, and where it's made more than ever. I do advertising for the theatrical/entertainment industry, so my wardrobe isn't formal, at least for my sector. More on the smart casual side, although I do need to buy some suits. If you haven't purchased any outerwear yet, I highly recommend Private White V.C. Amazing stuff. Most of my fall and winter wear is Private White. Valstar is really great for a refined suede jacket too.

Thanks! I haven't looked at Private White too much- I have a Land's End coat that worked last winter, although it is likely too big now. I did pick up a rain coat from Lorne's here in Toronto last year before COP, and have a Burberry trench en route now. But winter wear I should look into again. Valstar I'll look at as well- I picked up a faux suede jacket in Rome in March that I really like though :)

Well, I'm buying a lot of clothing right now because I always buy a lot of clothing. Do I need a reason? Clearly not, other than just seeing something I like...
