I like "the truth is the greatest enemy of the State" myself. (Different part of the same quote)

I, for one, do not give a flying ****. Having said that, the fact that you have to ask that questions probably means you shouldn't get that as a tattoo.

This last quote reminds me of one of my favorite quotes:

Q: What is best in life?

A: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

This makes sense to me.

This is what you should get:

" I got this tattoo because internet fashion nerds didn't like my original idea."

Before reading your translation, I would have translated "Hasta la victoria siempre" as "Towards reaching victory always." Slightly different interpretation, but makes more sense to me. Edit: Don't get the tattoo though. Just save this on your photobucket or something.

Are you even a Spanish speaker? If not, you would be the equivalent of a WASP frat guy getting a Chinese tattoo on his arm. Get the phrase in English, if it really means so much to you.

Tats are so... early 2000s.

While once considered white trash.. then edgy.. now.. they're just... contrived.

Comparable to saying.. "I'm a rebel... like the brazillion other people with tats."

I don't think the thread was an invitation for anti-tattoo marsupials to spew their ignorant diatribe but an inquiry about a specific tattoo, please abstain for speaking your mind, it's not worth sharing.

This thread started hilarious and has delivered all the way through.

I'm assuming the tattoo would be displayed as much as can be justified, which means it would be seen by plenty of people who won't recognize the tattoo as a Che quote. People will just see something in Spanish (or a for'n language they can't identify).

In that context, why get something in Spanish if you aren't brown or down?

And people who give idiots **** for their tattoos are bigger idiots, of course. Laughing to the point of tears and pointing in comic disbelief are acceptable, but confronting someone is absurd.
