How do your suits hang in the closet?

Do you hang the suits uncovered or in a suit bag or clearner bag to prevent dust etc from collecting? The more suits you own the more likely I imagine it is that those worn less frequently may go into a suit bag when not part of a rotation. Any recommendation?

My suits hang on wooden hangers inside of Walmart suit bags because they are priced right and allow for ventilation.

I only hang my out-of-season suits in bags. Dust is not a problem for the in-season suits that aren't in bags. The closet and my brushing prior to and after wear keeps them in good condition.

I have about 8 and rotate them year round. Never covered but I do use a lint roller at times.

Are your shoes arranged in a circle for the same reason then? Mine are.

Sometimes, when I open the closet in the morning, the legs of the trousers are wrapped around each other.

I assume that they do this in homage to the San Francisco meet-ups.

I hang them in color order with wooden hangers. The majority are covered with nice garment bags.

I don't hang any of my suits in bags of any sort. From what I've read, the only proper storage would be in an airtight bag that has been vacuum sealed, i.e. all air taken out.

Otherwise, putting your suits in bags is not a good idea, due to mildew that will build up over time and damage the wool.

The only benefit to putting your suit in an airtight vacuum bag would be to protect from moths. If you're getting dirt and other things on your suit, then you need to clean your house more often.

And even if you do get dirt and lint on a suit, a simple horsehair brush, lint brush, and steamer will do wonders for a suit. No reason to put one in a bag.

1) hang on large sized cedar hangar
2) let air out for one day after wearing suit
3) place in bag to decrease the chance that a moth will snack on it.(I wish I had a cedar closet)
4) color grouped

Being of the bay area kin, I store mine carefully mixed with my black latex ass-less chaps, the Vaseline and a good measure of glitter.

The legs of my office pants though, do not partake in the festivities.

Does anyone have a good source for cloth suit bags?

I hang them using wood hangers and no bags, and do to the small size of my hanging space here, I have to fold the few that are not in season, something I deeply regret now that I'm starting to pull out the fall/winter clothing.
