Homemade indigo-dyed shirts

A few months ago I cold soaked a few pairs of my jeans (probably Helmut Lang and APC) and tossed a white Gap shirt in with the jeans. I've since washed this shirt a few times and it looks like some of the indigo has permanently dyed the shirt.

It shows for me fine. I like the look... a bit of a worn in, but yet to be worn out type. However, you think you can get more indigo to stick? I think that'll look much better

I think you should wear it a minimum of six months with no wash and see if you get some sick fading in the arm pit and chest area.

All joking aside, that is a pretty cool shirt. I may try it to see how dark I can get the shirt.

It was about twice as dark when I first soaked it but washing has rubbed off a lot of the indigo. Next time I get some new denim I'll soak it again.
