Recently thrifted a pair of burnt orange cords. The maker's tag had been removed, but I was wondering if someone can identify the maker from the size and care tags? Appears to be made in Italy.
    Thanks.

Just noticed on the first page, there are many Caruso labels mistaken for other makers, specifically Corneliani and Dunhill (in two cases). Might want to edit that accordingly.

I know. would love to but cannot edit because of software time limits - asked many times for an exception

No at a problem at all. Maybe I'll respond to the OP with corrected info but the problem is that the incomplete and erroneous OP will still stand...

I was at Harry Rosen today and saw tons of ties that had a plain capital B as their logo and no other identifying marks of any sort. Is anyone familiar with this brand? Who makes it?

It's by a brand irritatingly called Bespoke. Made in Canada of annoyingly thick woven silks in gaudy colors and patterns.

Great idea. Maybe we should add interior labels that can reveal the age of a garment? I'll try to add a couple of labels from older and newer Corneliani tonight or tomorrow.

We're like the CSI of clothing!

    by far......the best post

Anyone know who this is - I got a Fendi suit for my brother and it's almost the exact same tag...

Can anyone tell from this tag who made this suit?

So I found this in a thrifting adventure today. Fits perfectly and I love it--but I've never seen this particular Sulka label design before. No other labels present or anything, just the one label. If anybody's got any insight into this label's vintage or anything else about it I sure would be happy to hear it! [IMG]

What is the point of the cutaway at the corner of the heel? I noticed some have it and some don't.

To keep the heel from catching the cuff of your pants when you walk.

And also not to scuff your toes with the sharp edge of the heel.
