High spread sollar shirt with thin lapel suit?

Can you wear a high collar shirt (around 2 inch height, 3.25 inch collar points) with a suit with thin lapels? I'm looking for a high and wide collar because I have a thin face and long neck. Most of my suits have thin lapels, say around 2.75. Thanks.
