I can't say that I don't like Fair Isle jumpers or Barbours with longwings...
(Sorry for the dull and noisy image quality)

I like that a lot. Can't make out the shirt but I think a tattersall would be an improvement over a plain white. I bought a few recently from Cordings and now they're all I want to wear.

^ I'm no more a jeans guy, but had I to wear some I'd pick the grey ones.
They have me remind when a jeans came out of the shop in a midnight blue, thick and stiff as cardboard, and only after months of wear and washes it became soft and faded. Only then it was considered a 'truly smart' one ...
Also I can't understand why jeans should be dry cleaned: they are meant to be a pratical and informal garment, so one should just throw it in the washing machine.

Made the rookie error yesterday of not viewing everything at once and grabbing accessories on the way out the door. Came out colorful but cacophonous.

Rebounded the other way today and went full investment banker.

@Clouseau I'm currently in the process of trying to break in some 23oz elephant denim from Naked and Famous. I'll post some pics of those. But right now my favorites are from Wallace and Barnes, Oni and Gustin. All mid weight (12 to 15 oz). Those are the ones I reach for regularly, especially now that it's getting colder.

I'm also starting to play around with some different colors like these off white ones. Just a cheap pair I got on sale at the Gap to experiment. Not quite sold on them yet ...

Jacket is a vintage Pendleton, boots are Alden. And that's our dog; she's decided she wants to be in all the photos.

The grey one isnt grey Luigi ! It's blue "raw" denim. Doesnt look like that now. If i had wanted to keep it like that I should have...took it to the dry cleaners!

I believe this is the time of my life when I wear the most jeans: I spent many years wearing quite formal and it has been interesting to go back to earlier times with the chinos and denim. Some of my jeans, that now I use more than any other kind of pants:

Different colours and shades...

@JohnAAG i am very interested with Gustin!

I think Gustin offers good value for the money. There's nothing super special about their standard offerings but they are solidly built and they use quality denims. Plus they normally offer a wide variety of fits. Basically, what more do you want from a pair of jeans?

They also do some projects with more interesting fabrics in case you're looking for something different.

Here are the Gustins underneath my Onis. The Onis aren't my best fitting pair (they're a little too full in the leg). But I love the slubby denim they used. They've really developed some character
