Hello

Would someone be able to tell me if the following fits correct or if i would be able to do much better?

Are the chinos too short and the arms on the oxford too long?

The chinos are a 30 leg , the next leg length is a 32 which i could have to order if you guys think they are too short?

Album here appreciate any comments please :)

Both items from Burton, if anyone has suggestions where i might get a better fit please let me know and i could return these

Thanks

Length looks fine. The seat is a mess. I would look for another fit. The shirt is too tight. You need something with some extra room to move around in.

Thanks for your feedback by "seat" do you mean the back of the chinos?
Yes. You need to find another fit or brand that is not so tight and will drape better. You are much better having a roomier fit that drapes nicely than a slim fit that doesn't.

Thanks I would have never noticed this if it wasn't for you.

I did a bit of research and found this video at 1 min 5 seconds I think the too tight section in the middle exactly displays my issue?

Do you have any recommendations for where to try next for chinos?

Are you anywhere near London? If so, stop in at Cordings. Otherwise, I'm not familiar with brands you might be able to try on for fit.

I'd avoid Burton, Next, RI etc.
Gap is possibly the best bet for chinos, slightly more expensive but lots of choice of fits, colours, and finishes. Decent enough quality at the price point too.

Length looks good. I'd only go longer if I wanted to be rolling them up.

Shirt is too tight and it looks like if you went a size up you'd be getting sleeves too long.

Charles Tyrwhitt has a good range of shirt fits, from roomy classic fit thru to extra slim fit. Maybe try one of their slim fit ones for size - They are more like a tailored fit rather than super slim.
Again decent enough quality at the price point, and they have lots of sales.

Hope that helps
