I have two questions for you guys: Why are the pants pre-hemmed and what's with the jacket having no vents? Is this a used/old suit? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

It might have been altered, but returned with the tags still on. I've had that happen to me when I bought online, but was able to return item.

But I haven't seen anything "new" and ventless/reverse pleated from Canali in some time. Shoulder looks like it's from at least a few seasons ago maybe? None of the stores I know that carry Canali have had ventless stuff since the 2006-07 season or so.

There are places around the country and online that specialize in liquidating NOS stuff like this when a store closes. My guess is that this an old-stock return that's been in a store back room somewhere for a while.
