Howard Yount makes some very nice ones. I generally recommend sizing up a size with his pants.

I have a pair of Alexander McQueen wool trousers in navy blue, which I believe would fit the bill, but they are from a past season (pre-Sarah Burton, I believe) and I get confused about the exact delineation of "flannel" anyway. Are there wool pants that are not flannel?

Hey H, I did used to have a deep blue (fairly close to navy) pair of flannel from Cucinelli but that was from a few seasons back so not sure if they are still doing them. Needless to say, fantastic fabric. Happy hunting.

Huh???

What about twill, bird's eye, pick-and-pick, herringbone, etc.? All non-flannel woollens. What a strange question...
