The Hardy Riviera Collection includes "a range of plain fabric for trousers. "100% Pure New Cool." Plain weave. Very dry, crisp hand. 250 gm, I think. Impressive variety of solids, including a nice medium grey (#7521) and light grey (#7561). Also a nice light tan and a khaki/taupe.
Recalling the (perfectly understandable) grief felt over the loss of Minnis "Rangoon," I am wondering if this cloth isn't identical to the much beloved Rangoon. No nonsense, hard-wearing Panama/tropical wool suiting.
They are not featured on the Huddersfield Fine Worsteds website.
I am wondering if anyone has any seen/felt this cloth, or had anything made up with it.
