Dear Tricker's colleagues,

This is my first post on here and it is to raise interest in a group MTO.

I often have the need to wear tough Desert Boots and I would like to put in an order with Richard at Shoe Healer for what, in my mind, would be the ultimate boot for my requirements.

As I will be wearing these in the kind of places where one doesn’t want to draw attention to detail, I am not looking for a “bling” fashion boot. And as I am a big fan of “anonymous luxury” as I like to call it ….. such as one would enjoy when driving a Bristol (which, I hasten to add, I don’t), I want a top quality boot that only a trained eye would spot.

Here are the specs that I propose:

Burford Boot on 4497s last, Fitting 5.
Gaucho Repello Suede.
Mushroom Binding.
Natural Barbour Welt.
Brown Dainite Sole.
Vintage Green Calf Lining.
Brown Pull Loops.
Four Brass Eyelets, Three Brass Ski-Hooks.
Leather Laces.

Simple, beautiful.

I have posted a couple of images of suede Burfords (with ski-hooks) in other colours and some of Stows in the Gaucho Repello.

Richard has said that the waiting times are growing, so if you would like a beautiful late-spring/early summer Desert Boot, please let me know as soon as you can.

I meant to say, if you are interested, or if you have any questions about the boot, please contact Richard at Shoe Healer: [email protected]

As soon as the numbers are in place he will get the order in with Tricker's.

Best,
Morris

And here they are ... arrived today. They look warmer in the flesh (I will take some more pictures in better light) and I love them!
