Stitches knows what's up.

JRD, we've saved this thread from the fate you imagined for it.

Well, I didn't want it to turn into a bitchfest over a supposed "beef" you have with Vox. Not sure if Stitchy was joking about that. The Vox stuff deserves to go to DT.

Despite stitchy saying no one wants to "retread" the sartorial minutae debates from the past, I think many will find them hysterical!

So poast more real controversies that align with my OP!!!!!!!!

How about the controversy if Ambrosi is a trust worthy pent maker or not.

That thread is a classic, it has everything you would want in a thread, including a climactic confrontation...

Are you talking about the one that Foo started?

That was classic.

Wasn't the heart of the matter was whether 5 cm is enough to warrant a re-cut of bespoke pants?

As crazy as some of the Foo threads have gotten, I agree with that one.

Can't find the exact link

Those were probably two of the saddest and most embarassing threads ever posted on SF. Anybody who got involved with them probably should feel ashamed of themselves, and I really don't understand why people would find what was either some very sophisticated sock-puppetry and trolling or alternatively, the baiting of someone who is either mentally ill or simply not very intelligent, entertaining. They also constitute two of the best arguments for stronger forum moderation that I've seen...

Not sure if this one has been mentioned yet, but...

Appropriate amount of break in trousers.

I have seen on this forum some ungodly sights of trousers not even touching the shoe...being able to see way too much sock...
