The interview went very well.

Looks like I would be a good fit for the position.

I spoke with the HR person this afternoon and they want me to come back to meet with two of the partners in the office. Basically, the regional marketing director liked me but wants to be sure I will be a fit with the people in the office. They will be contacting me to set up that meeting - probably next week.

Yes - this is the StyleForum after all.

Navy with very subtle blue-on-blue plaid pattern, 2-button, Hart, Schaffner & Marx suit, blue point-collar Nordstrom brand shirt, gold tie by Robert Talbot for Nordstrom, Black AE Park Avenues, black dress belt.

For the next interview, I'll probably go with my grey Austin Reed two-button suit but I could wear my navy 3-button Joseph Abboud.

Sounds good. The Abboud sounds like a good 'first day on the job' suit. Assuming the package offered meets with your satisfaction, of course.

Could this be the perfect suit for this?

I think, yes. They have no choice but to roll over for you.

Met with the partners today - think it went well, but I'm knocking on wood, crossing myself, avoiding cracks in the sidewalk, etc. so as not to jinx anything.

Wore the gray Austin Reed two-button, white Nordstrom's spread-collar shirt w/french cuffs, round gold cufflinks w/compasses, light blue Brooks Bros. tie and my black AE Park Avenues.

Sounds like I should be hearing something later this week.
