Good part-time jobs/volunteering to meet people?

Inspired by the "going out alone" thread, what are some good part-time jobs or volunteer positions where you get to meet and interact with lots of people, especially your peers? I'm 22 and in college, so those are my peers. For example, I work at a golf course. I meet tons of people, but they're mostly old guys..not so much my peers. Looking for something where I might run into both girls and guys, make friends, etc. I already belong to a club for my major at school, but other ideas are welcome. I live 45 minutes from campus, so it's hard to get too involved. There is another college 15 minutes from me, so jobs around that school should attract some college age folks. Something that looks good on a resume wouldn't hurt either!
