Buy the best shoes you can afford that you can try on and FIT. You can still wear a shirt or trousers that are too loose or a bit too tight in places. You do that with shoes and you will be in pain. That's why it's important not to compromise on fit even if the price is good and not to buy online without having tried on shoes in the same fitting.

Always buy mobile phones from Africans, landline phones from Greeks, and phone cards from Indians. No communications devices should ever be bought from the British.
