Took a risk on these, and they're too big for me so here they are:

circa 1950s vintage longwing wingtip brogues. Color is a really swell reddish brown and the leather is pebbled grain.

Soles are welted double sole leather with vulcan rubber heels. Soles in great shape, not that much wear esp considering the age. Overall condition is excellent, minimal creasing at toes and overall shape is solid. Some minor scuff marks on toe but only adds character to a shoe of this vintage.

Brand inside is SEARS, marked a size 9EE but I *think* it's narrower than a true double E.

Measurements from outer sole:
12.25" end to end
4.5" at widest point

leather condition (inside and outside) is very good with no cracking

Price includes shipping in USA/Canada: $30

Way too big for me, but very nice-looking shoes.

How do you find the quality on these to be? I see vintage Sears brand longwings every once in a while on eBay and they really tempt me.

They're really sturdy, this particular pair has a nice patina to it and not very much wear at all. I wish they were a bit smaller, and if I found another pair in my size I wouldnt hesitate to bid on them

I believe the old Sears longwings were the same shoe as the Florsheim longwings, ie, I think Florsheim made them. I have a pair of the Florsheim versions, and ought to wear them more than I do. They're a true American classic shoe.

you're probably right, these do bear a striking resemblance to my Imperial longwings....and i know Florsheim loves to use pebblegrain leather
