The rolled up pents challenge? I'm wearing sockless rolled up chinos today (not above the ankle though, hate that look)

I was indeed expecting to see some more red and also lavender/mauve, which were explicitly permitted. Those were the most versatile allowed colors

i now know i need a red striped shirt.
or, building off of what we just did, best non-standard colored suit. no blues or grays. dust off the leisure suits.
this would be good for winter i think. for sumer, id say no navy, but yes to other blues.

all you have to do is win, and then the challenges are at your command. :)

Wow. Those challenges are awesome.

I was just reading through a couple of those old threads; in the discussion of one of them NYI suggested a potentially fantastic theme:

"Fixed it" - take an outfit you've already posted in the WAYWRN at least the week before (to prevent "gaming" by posting a deliberately bad first outfit during the challenge week), and improve it for your entry, submitting the old outfit alongside the new. It would be a great learning opportunity for all of us, though it would limit entries to those already posting in WAYWRN. To broaden entries, one could do it as a "Thought Process" challenge, where you post what you were going to wear and also what you actually wore, describing why you changed/improved a detail. Voters can decide for themselves how to vote (i.e. purely on absolute success of outfit, or most improved, or a blend).

That's the best one I've read yet. That NYI... he may have a goofy beard. But he's a smart SOB.

That's a great suggestion from NYI. Perhaps this week's winner will be inspired by it.
