Gave it a shot, we'll see. Last time shoe mart had something like this, I believe they canceled the orders (Alden Shell Chukka's in size 15 or something like that)

Seems unlikely that they'd let them go out the door, and they certainly have no problem just canceling their mistakes (not that I have a problem with them not fulfilling free shoe orders). Good luck guys.

I feel like they'd have to inform you of the full price and get your authorization before charging your card. Otherwise stores would "adjust" their prices as they see fit.

Nahh... nice try. Any one with basic contract law knowledge will tell you that there is no binding contract if you are not paying anything. If the price was indicated as $1 or something, then Shoemart would be in trouble.
That said, I don't think it's gentlemanly to try to take advantage of what is obviously an error.

Well, for my part, I don't expect them to honor the listing. I figured this exercise in how they handle customer relations is a good excuse to register with Shoemart.

If by chance the shoes are delivered, I'll offer to return them...at their cost of course.

Pretty much as expected, the order was cancelled this morning, but not until after they notified me that they have been shipped!
