Folding back the cuffs on a woolen cardigan

Have seen a Berk camelhair cardigan. Size 52 fits nicely, with the cuffs fully extended. Folding back the cuffs reveals the inner stitched seam to the world, while leaving the sleeves too short. I've heard it said that cuffs made for folding have this stitched seam on the outside, so as to remain hidden when turned up. In other words... it fits as should (unfolded).

Haven't worn a woolen jumper (sweater) since childhood, so have no idea if the above is true.

It looks very nice. You definitely don't have to fold back if the length is good. I have seen jumpers with the inside-out stitching at the sleeve that you described, but it's such a small detail I wouldn't personally care either way.

I don't think the cuffs on that particular cardigan are designed to be folded back.

It's a pretty nice cardigan. How's the fit?

Thanks. Only recently became aware of this detail.

Quite roomy. But then I have to go extra large to get the length in arms and body. Afraid I can't post fit pics on SF. I look terrible in all clothing
