I just purchased a blazer from Nordstrom(brand is Theory) and was curious what people here thought of how the fit looks. Any general opinions on how it looks in terms of how it fits? Also I noticed the rear/butt flaps of the blazer seem to stick out some, is that normal or not? I have a pelvic tilt so I wondered if that could be why it looks that way, but I really wasn't sure, and wondered if that is normally how that is supposed to look or not. Here's some pictures, first 4 photos are unbuttoned, last 3 are buttoned. Pictures aren't the greatest quality sadly, but it should be enough as a reference.

First thing first, never ever button the bottom jacket button, ever.

In the last photo it appears the jacket is a little too short.

Theory in general is not high quality. I think they are all fused suits and jackets. You can do better for the money.

Also that looks like a suit jacket, not a blazer. It should be worn with matching suit pants. If it is a blazer, it should not be worn with pants that are of almost the same color like in your pictures, but rather something like tan colored dress pants.

But, again, don’t make the mistake of wearing a jacket with both buttons buttoned. It’s the fastest way to signal to people that you don’t know what you’re doing. Either wear it unbuttoned, or just button the top one.

Hope this helps.
