Hi, I just got my first ever leather jacket a few weeks ago. I'm not sure but I think it's a little too long for a leather jacket (2-3 inches below the belt). I can't return it anymore, already removed the tag and wore a few times. Looking for opinions/advice. Thanks!

I think it looks fine. The longer length seems more relaxed and causal to me. Having it the jacket neatly end just below the belt seems like it would be a more aggressive, more fashion conscious aesthetic. I'd say that weather as is or shorter is better would depend on what it is paired with, the activity, and setting. I've worn the same old, inexpensive leather jacket for nearly 2 decades, still get complemented on it, as its style suits how I dress and the event/setting I'm in. The cropped at the waist, well fitted, look is great but not for everyone at all times.

The body length looks ok but the sleeves look 1.5" too long with all the gatherings along the arm. Without seeing the jacket zipped up I can't say for sure but it looks slightly too big on you. I find minimalist styled smooth leather jackets look flattering only when they fit snuggly. Distressed leather jackets are more forgiving in terms of fit. I used the following photos as an example. They both have a band collar and rather minimalist design details similar to your jacket. The left smooth leather jacket fits the model closely and the right distressed leather fits more relaxed.
