I'm looking to fix myself... yes I'm the trend victim you found on the side of the road with the squared off shoes... In the next few month's I have budgeted $600 to start to fix my look to show a more professional look, but I don't know where to start. I've always dress well, and always better then 80% of men. But I want to get into the top 5%. About me and my build... I'm 6' size 34 x 32 in jeans and large dress shirts (off the rack form fit like CK and Kennith Cole), a size 10.5 shoe. I have broad shoulders and ok V shape (need to get back to a 32' waist). I have a reddish complexion so colors in that spectrum are outlawed... I need a suit... I need shirts... (http://www.jantzentailor.com I'm sure) I need ties... (I only own one) I need shoes... I know I'm starting off with a small amount of cash for this but it's what I have to work with right now... I figure I need to do the ebay thing... so send help to this poor soul, and links to what you think I should look into...

Your best bet is a Filene's/Off 5th or some similiar store that sells suits/clothing at a discount.

EBay is hit or miss and you really need to know a little bit in order to hit more often than not. If $600 is your absolute limit, then you can't afford to miss at all. If you're not sure about the fit, then I'd avoid the web entirely and hit the brick and mortar stores.

Focus on fit for right now and you can worry about construction details and fabric later when you can expand your budget.
