Fair enough, each to their own and if the situation permits! I can get away with brown oxfords but on more formal days I need the black oxfords as well. I echo what NJE66 said, definitely jealous of being able to work from home!
I agree - cordovan on oxfords do look slightly out of place. I think I'll stick to the cordovan on my loafers and derbies.
So far from what I have collected and rethinking my choices, I have come to another conclusion:
1. C&J Audley Black
2. C&J Connaught Dark Brown Suede (Or any suggestion for dark brown suede oxfords?)
- Apparently suede oxfords are versatile too, with the ability to be worn to work and casually. Correct me if I'm wrong.
- And I welcome suggestions from other brands too, I don't want to stick to only C&J.
- Or should I go more casual in suede, i.e. Carmina NST?
3. C&J Brown Cordovan Harvard (Pretty firm on this)
4. Alden PTB 990 Colour 8
5. Suede Penny/Tassel Loafer
- Should I go PTB first, or suede loafers first?
6. Dark Brown Oxfords
- This is low down the list as I have an existing still useable pair
7. Double Monk
8. List goes on...
As I understood it your present models is the ones linked (please, correct me if being wrong)

And one pair of dark brown oxford
Your priority are set for one pair of black captoe oxford, which I think is fine. Given the fact you being in business environment during the weekdays, personally I would continue aiming for oxford staples. I prefer suede for loafers, chukka and boots, but thats just me. Considering the models you already in possession of, not sure, but maybe you risk overstock on hefty models at this point?
If versatile in terms of color and model is what you are looking for maybe something like this (remember this is the perspective of a guy being big on sleek oxfords)

Sounds like you're having a good time and are on track. Already some great models in the collection. Don't try to overthink or rationalize the theoretical part (though well aware of the fun part of planning, having discussion and execute the purchases) too much. In time you are most likely to end up with more shoes than needed anyway.
