So summer is coming to an end and I've begun looking for a fall/winter coat. I've had a theory peacoat, but despite being a small, it is too long in the arms and length.

I'm 5'6" and 140 pounds. I'm a 35 chest in dress shirts; not sure If I need to size up when it comes to coats?

Anyway I'm looking for a fit like this -http://www.gq.com/slideshows/mens/fashionshows/F2010MEN/BND/RUNWAY/00180m.jpg

I've come across this - http://tinyurl.com/stevenalanpeacoat
I really like it, but I'm not sure how the fit will look and I don't know anything about the brand.

I'm hoping someone can guide me in the right direction for a slim fitting peacoat that WILL NOT look like this -

Any advice would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Hello:

You will love Gerald & Stewart Peacoats by Fidelity Sportswear. If you have questions about a particular coat let me know? I opened the Steven Alan link that you had posted into the thread. I hope to help you out and lead you in the right direction. We also sell at Barney's NY and The Tannery if Steven Alan is out of that particular Jacket.

Some notes about the brand: All jackets are made in the USA, We sell exclusive naval - inspired outerwear and have since 1941 and lastly our Gerald & Stewart collection runs in European sizes and the Fidelity collection runs to American Sizing. : ) Both would work for your size.

Best Regards,
Crissy L.
