Any entrepreneurs in here? What type of business do you own? How did you start? How's it going?

I own a hybrid pet resort / web design / business card creation agency. Unfortunately I am mired in debt and business is slow.

Started my design/build construction firm while still in college. All the money I made waiting tables I put down on a warehouse and bought a forklift to move materials around. Long days which haven't gotten any shorter, and a few years later we have grown into having a full blown showroom (in a different location). We have branched out, and our projects are specialized in middle to high end construction. My advice to anyone starting a business is to begin with the mindset that the money will come eventually. Worry about quality and service. Do what you say you are going to do, and do it right. Even thought the economy is in the toilet right now, we are kicking ass. I am fortunate to have a wonderful group that I employ, however they all follow the same basic principal. Quality and integrity. I will NOT stand for anything less.
