Got one the blue workshirts today (thanks Peasant). Seems a little slimmer fitting than the F/W buttondown I have. Quality is as good as you'd expect. The non-matching button is a nice detail.

I wanted to take more detailed pics, but haven't had time. The detailing is great, felled inseams, lined waist and back yoke, half lined pockets, lined hem (can kind of see the red in the pics), my gripes are the belt loops seem a bit flimsy (really thin), weight of denim is VERY light, possibly my lightest pair, i'd say maybe 10-12oz, and no chainstitch hem.

But the fit is great, I had the opportunity to try these on at American rag in LA last month, so i knew what i was getting, but they run a size small. can't beat the $76 price tag though.

Thanks karissa!

poly, glad you finally got them. i love mine, just haven't been able to wear them due to the sufu660 contest. those are definately 12oz.

For those who do appreciate the EG aesthetics: I will be listing a (much loved, but rarely ever worn

) Pathfinder jacket in Khaki, size XS (fits like a Small, I think) on the B&S forum sometimes this week. Stay tuned.

I wonder if anyone stateside will be stocking the shawl collar shirt jackets though. It's the first time that I've seen them.

Good point on the peacoat. Hadn't planned on it (of course, didn't plan on this either). I was going to go with ddml's sentiments and wait for the winter version. BTW, did you see that EG wool shawl-collar coat that was on ebay a couple weeks ago? It looked pretty similar, so I'm guessing that this season's might be a revisit of the design.

Yep, I did see the one on ebay and I really liked how the liner was used (I didn't like the wool fabric used for it though). This season's peacoat will be made out of Sunforger canvas I think, and will have the shawl collar on it as well... it's in the lookbook actually, and on their site.
