I never thought I’d post this here on Style Forum but I just started exploring these non-menswear related forums and figured I’d give it a try…
Has anyone here ventured into the world of contemporary bone China dinnerware? I’m looking for a brand/source that does nice looking styles that are somewhat minimal (none of the ornate, antique style hand painted designs) and, most importantly, do not contain lead or cadmium—or at least have verifiably low/negligible amounts. I’ve looked at Wedgewood, Stone + Lain, Villeroy and Boch, Mikasa, Lennox, etc. I’ve seen claims in reviews that these brands are either non-toxic or have very low levels of toxicity; however, the brands don’t make these claims themselves.
This is a very niche question but I’m hoping someone here has some input. Thank you!
