Blue looks really cool. I'd prefer them to be totally blue as I don't like the idea of two-tone shoes and I think all blue would look better with the ribbon. But all and all I think they look pretty cool. Definitely unique if nothing else.

Thanks. The dude told me that if he did the whole shoe blue I would lose the red in the ribbon due to bleeding. I think he was just being lazy but this is what I got. They look cool with jeans.

Nice dye job, but I'd still sell them. It'd look better if you would dye the whole thing blue. Not sure how to cover up the ribbon/horse bit though. I wouldn't be able to work them into my rotation as they are now. Perhaps if I were a sprezz'd out italian I could pull it off. hah

These actually turned out quite well. I am surprised. Wear them in health.

I love 'em. Those would be great with jeans, chinos, or sockless with linen in the summer.

And ignore those hating on the two tone. It gives 'em spice. And I suspect your cobbler was right about bleeding if you had tried to do the strap.

They look swell - and now you have shoes to wear on the next fourth of July.

I'm always amazed at how relatively simple and inexpensive it is to have a shoe dyed (as long as the new color is darker).
