Centralized thread for the beginning of shoe cleanout. Starting with one pair each of Carmina, Gaziano & Girling, and Meermin. No smoking, no pets. All well cared for with Saphir, GlenKaren, Bick products. Brushed after every wearing. Always kept with shoes trees. Boxes and bags available, with details below. Shipping is extra, to be determined. UPDATE 2017-03-31: Initial pairs sold. New pairs to be posted in the new future.
1. Carmina x Epaulet dark brown scotch grain plain toe derbies on Forest last. Size 9.5UK. Partial Dainite soles. In great shape. These are wonderful for wet weather. The metal eyelets are a nice casualizing detail. These date from a time when Carmina only included a single shoe bag. I have a second red one that kind of matches from another maker. Also the box, if you want it. SOLD.
2. G&G Westbury. Vintage oak. TG73 last Size 10E UK. These have had decent use but there's still plenty of life in the soles, and the shoes themselves still look lovely. They've just fallen out of rotation, and I need to make room. I have the box (pretty beat up from shipping) and Allen Edmonds bags, if interested. $400. SOLD
3. Meermin version of the Lobb Phillip II. This was part of a GMTO. Dark brown museum calf with very subtle mottling. Olfe last. Size 10UK. The soles are still in great shape with lots of life left in them. The last never fit me quite right. The left shoe has a tongue pad that can be removed. The leather also creased a little while breaking in, as museum sometimes seems too. I'm marking down the price a bit as a result of both of those. Shoe bags and box available. (Shoe trees not included.) SOLD.
