The AE Joplin has I think been discontinued, probably because of the (somewhat) square toe. They were going for the Kenneth Cole crowd with that shoe, I think. I don't think the toe on that guy is too square ... the cone looks to me like the Alden plaza last ... so it might be a good score right now. Certainly 99.99% of the population is not going to notice anything here or there about the shape of the toe. And the rubber sole is probably fine. The kind to avoid are the ones that wrap up onto the shoe like a sneaker.
