Dormeuil Ledger book 1937-38

I did a couple of appointments today at Dormeuil in mid town and they had an interesting artifact that was sent to them from their Paris office.

Its an overcoat order book from 37-38. Im sure it was very effective. Maybe more so than modern logging methods in some ways because it stores a sample of the actual cloth rather than a description.

That mid blue monster herringbone (midway down second pic) is the NUTS!

I like the idea of including a small swatch in the order book; probably not possible now that many tailors don't keep bolts of cloth around but only smaller swatch books.
