Wore this a couple of weeks ago for an office mug shot:

Attachment 26415

The tie here is a glen check of silver/red/black that reads pink from any distance more than a couple of feet (color is more muted in the photo than in reality):

Attachment 26416

Nothing unusal about either of these for me, and I do all of my work in federal court on behalf of the government.

When one wears a cute little yellow flower en boutonnière in the office, a pink shirt is probably the least foofy part of the outfit...

Mmmkay, I'll bite: Lessee...inappropriate suit colors... Yellow, Orange, Red, Green (not olive), Purple, And many derivations of the foregoing. Not sure how your syllogism holds water. Asserting that since color X shouldn't be used to make a suit, therefore, QED, color X is an inappropriate color in the wardrobe, is the sort of logical nonsense we were stuck with for EIGHT LONG YEARS under Bush II. But I'll get some popcorn and enjoy the show. Pink in my wardrobe at present: Many shirts and ties. The lining to a charcoal grey suit (actually fuchsia, so I look like a magician). Socks. Boxers.

+1 though adding another lining to a SB navy blazer

I have several pink shirts and I wear them because I like the color. I wear them with jeans, a black suit, gray, khaki, blue, etc. Pink was once considered masculine, as it is a derivative of red--historically, the most masculine color.

I've always had a few pink shirts, as I do now.
My wife, who I have known for over 50 years, says
that it goes with my complexion. But my first
pink shirts predate my meeting her .

I don't have the balls to wear pink sweaters, belts, or watchbands; but I wish I did.

Whenever I wear a forest green polo or lime green OCBD, I wish I had a pair of light pink shorts.

To quote Jude Law, circa ALFIE "I know what you're thinking, but when you ooze masculinity like some of us, you have no reason to fear pink."

I wore a pink RL oxford for a social gathering last weekend and the woman that I took home that evening thought I looked good wearing it.

I was wearing a pink shirt the other day (Buonamassa, as it happens) while picking up a prescription for my mother. An elderly couple were sat in the doctor's waiting room and they were discussing my shirt loud enough for me to hear. The woman commented that I looked "very smart", and the husband (dressed in average slob-wear) replied, "I think it looks bloody horrible".

I don't think I'll take it to heart.
