I couldn't.

That said, pink is fine for ties and thong underwear, but after that I get a tad squeamish and uncomfortable.

There is some pink in everyone's skin.

It is the absolute amount and proportion of pink, relative to the rest of the outfit, that move the bar towards either masculine or feminine for me.

Personally, a small amount of shirt or an accessory is enough for me.

Yep; it is a bold look on a football jersey.

Light pink is a great color for shirts, as is lavender (also identified as suspect in this thread).

I want that pink gingham.

Yup! Shirts and ties and a few cuff links! I just love the way a nice blush pink shirt pops when worn with a nice mid-grey suit.

Your post reminds me of a pink striped Brioni tie that I used to wear with a medium gray suit, usually in spring. It was a great tie, but I discarded it a year or so ago due to stains.

If you wear something that in your face ,you have to be very very good...
Look at Ian Poulter the golfer and his eccentric wardrobe...Interesting when he plays well , less when he is rubbish or average..

...and it's fairly common for rugby clubs to have a 'third' shirt, often in pink in aid of cancer-related charities (not just breast cancer). Also, check out Stade Francais' shirts - they certainly ain't afraid of pink!

(Not exactly the kind of clothing we are talking about, admittedly...)

Are you saying that Nadal is not very very good? Maybe he's not one of the ATGs (All time Greats) but he's certainly very very good, and what's so out there about a pink tennis shirt? p.s. I still say you should have gone bespoke on both the baby blankets.

p.p.s. if you are interested in outlandish sports attire correlating with failure, google (Graham Langlands white boots) Those North of the Murray know what I mean.

Pink, toned down with enough gray, could work as a series of specks on a sport coat, or stripes on seersucker shirts or trousers, I think.

Oh - and pink of any sort on pocket squares, naturally.

Pink is fine as an accent color, thinking about it I have plenty of shirting with pink stripes or checks. I like to pair pink with different shades of blue and grey.
