So I am home this past Sat afternoon watching TV. My boy calls me and says that will be in my area and "what's up with some brew." I saw, "sure, swing thru!" He calls me when he is walking down the block. I go down to open the door. He comes in...with ONE FUKKIN SIX PACK! BETWEEN TWO GROWN MEN! When both he and I are on our 3rd beer, he says, "I should have brought 2 six-s!" WTF. One 6 pack btwn 2 grown men is like getting to 2nd base with the local ho...a tease.....
Isn't there a man law about this???

the general assumption though is you provide a few shots of liquor, no? that's what we always do. someone brings beer, then you do shots.

Would it not be normal for him to say "I've got a six pack, have you got any beers too, if not I'll go get you some on the way, what do you want?"

And then you give him the cash for your choice etc?

I wouldn't expect a friend to just call round with 12 beers, if he did, I'd demand ever more expensive beer each time!

If I roll through to his place(my mom lives in his area) and I stop by, I will bring 2 six packs.....or a bottle of booze(and leave what we don't finish.)
He should know better. I have had to send him back out to the store to get more brews MANY times....Just bad brah etiquette!!

Why would you even crack them in the first place?

This is what I thought.

Seriously though, what good is a six-pack? That's breakfast. It's not even a matter of being cheap, it's poor planning.
