His jackets fit real nice. Not as sack-y as they look in that pic. Closer to the chest and high armholes. I'm hoping no one buys the jacket since Chu is not a household name and that it goes on clearance

Am I the only one noticing that both those jackets are cut exactly the same?*

They look nice, regardless. I'm just not sure I'm a big fan of patch pockets. They may be more sporty and coat-y but so are centre vents which I'm not that fond of either. *A.K.A. saving money on production, like Express did for a while by having all their jackets in two button with keyholed lapels. Yuck.

They may be exactly the same cut, but that's not unusual. Many makers will use the same pattern across a few jackets.

What's confusing me is the patch pockets--they look uneven. The right pocket looks higher than the left.

Unfortunately, that jacket is already "on backorder" in every size...

Saks carries his stuff. Not sure where else.

He is opening/has opened his own boutique here in NYC. Also, Saks had a one season exclusivity, but other retailers carry it now. There should be a David Chu website also (actually its not up and running yet.) Vivre.com has some of his stuff.

I like those tweed trousers, too, and I'm in the market for a pair. What do people think about the quality? Any unusual sizing I should know about before I order?

I don't think that is a true backorder, I actually think it's more of a "preorder". They just got his stuff and everything is on "backorder"??
