I don't know the ounces, but the dress leather is definitely thinner than the oil tan. At the same, by all accounts it's pretty hardwearing, and will hold up better than CXL no doubt.

Agree with linafelt on this. My unlined brown dress BHs are definitely my lightest White's, but the brown dress leather wears tough, certainly doesn't scuff up as easily as CXL.

The White's EBay store is dangerous...I just wandered by and bought another pair of Packers...but under $225 including shipping, who can resist that?

What is going to be expensive is getting a horse to go with them.

Yep, all they do is eat and they aren't worth anything.............and you can't eat them!
