I recently purchased a brown Slinger just like the one you're considering and I'm delighted with it. Custom Hide took nine weeks to deliver it -- apparently because a key person in the company passed away unexpectedly -- but the bag itself is well-constructed and quite beautiful.

I'll provide a contrasting view:

I purchased their oversize Scholar bag about 2 years ago to use to take to court. It's an okay bag. My major problems are that small items like cell phones, pens, etc. can fall out of the bag when it is laid down and the leather was not that great. For example, rather than the leather sustaining a scratch within the finish, a bit of the finished leather was completely scratched off. Otherwise, my version is a big bag that can hold legal size files which serves its purpose.

Currently looking for a smaller bag with similar styling from another company...
