I know DB suits aren't in fashion, but other than that, what do you think? I'm a little afraid the lapels are too wide.

I would say they are more then a little wide. I like DB, matter of fact I am thinking of trying Modern Tailor's DB suit. I prefer to see the jacket button on the middle button, not the bottom button. My 2 cents.

I don't think I've ever seen a 6x1 that I've liked. 6x2 yes, but a 6x1 just never looks right to me.

The sleeves seem to be a little long, and also there is something funky with those lapels it doesnt seem like a true peak lapel. Also I'm assuming this is an off the rack suit?

That's not me wearing it. It's something I was considering purchasing. I agree that whoever is wearing it is wearing the sleeves too long.

I think the lapels are quite big for you. "medium lapels" are safest bet when creating suits. those lapels look like wings. double breasted suit is more for formal occasions.... navy blue color is standard and recommended as a must-have suit... unless this is your first suit, i would suggest a dark grey color.
