I just ordered a pair from Dresscodes Atlanta. Think it came to $100 after the 20% discount.

I wear a 33 or 32 in most jeans, 33 or 34 in trousers. Karen at Dresscodes measured the waist on the 34, and it was 16.5", so that's what I went with. Will report back on fit after they arrive.

Some people have said these are like work pants and/or Dickies. So I'm wondering, are these going to be too hot to wear in the summer? I'm highly considering getting a pair of the James.

i went and got the khaki 32's, might get them hemmed or leave them bunched up depending on what shoes I'm wearing

what are you guys going to be wearing with these? out of the shoes I have, the only ones that look good are Vans style lacoste canvas shoes that are grey and white. also possibly my brown J shoes boots.

i feel like i'm more of a fall/winter colored person so I think i'll need to wear a primary color shirt (which I don't have many of). suggestions?

The cut and styling of those pants were lifted directly from a no-longer-in-production workpant. Either that or it's an eerie coincidence. The button, pockets, everything are exactly the same. It's kinda like how all these new selvage jean companies lift cuts from Levi's and Lee and such and make them in upgraded fabrics.

Karen,

Will you be carrying any of the other cuts (the Richard or the Sally)?

I believe that the Sally and James chino fits are going to be released for fall. These we did not place an order for, but when they become available we may be able to get our hands on a couple. I will try to find out.

Got the chinos today - the fit was spot on. Pretty slim through the top, a little more relaxed from the knees down with a slight bootcut. No complaints with the quality.

I need to get them hemmed - anyone have advice on the break for a pair of pants like these? (I'm thinking no break, though I don't think I'm ready for the GS super-short style.)
