$650 a good deal for this? It's the bigger one. I bought it from an architecture firm. The lady said they'd gotten it in '02, but it was in excellent condition.

What's good for cleaning the nickel?

Can't help you with the nickel, but 650 seems a good deal to me! Too bad these Platner tables are really difficult to source from outside the US.

650 seems pretty good to me. I'm not into them personally, they move if you lean on them.

How many times do I have to tell you to sit up straight and keep your elbows off the table?

If my son is any guide, every damned day.

Don't worry, eventually he will be on a first date with some girl...she'll be slouched with her elbows on the table. Her elbows will wing out everytime she brings the fork to her mouth. That mouth will hang open, "catching flies", while she's listening.

He might not know exactly why at first, but there won't be a second date.

That's awfully specific.

Speaking of Nakashima, my friend's parents received matching dressers as a wedding gift. My friend and her sister recently got them.

I think the parents either knew him or someone close to him.
