Could use some second thoughts.
Thinking of getting this for my living room, but in a tan leather rather than black.
Yay or nay?

Looks comfortable and I like the design. Would need to see it in tan. Who makes it?

Can't say I love this shade of tan:

Feel like it would be better if it shifted a little more towards bourbon, but that's probably not what the designers were going for.

It is weird to me that the straps look a little darker than the leather.

I agree. If it's a natural leather with little to no coating it may darken quickly.

It's made by the Swedish company Norrgavel, I think it's only sold in Sweden and Norway?
The workshop where they make them is about a 1,5 hour car ride away from where I live.

It looked a lot better in the store against a more natural background, rather than pure white.
My living room is painted in a muted gray/blue colour, so I feel that the black leather might be a bit too much.

Photography can make a big difference with lighter shades like that. I wouldn't be surprised if it looks better in person.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
